This class is the equivalent to the Expansion Stage of the Learning Skills (Cycle 3) of the French Elementary School (3rd to 5th grade).
In this class, the purpose is to teach children the fundamental blocks of the French grammar and conjugaison, and supplement their vocabulary.
This will give them the tools to quickly communicate and access information in broad range of situations.
The priority is given to the creativity in the written expression. Students learn how to use the simple conjugaisons and the structure of the nominative group. With these assets, they will be able to begin the written expression and to be involved to write their first essay.

- Improve and broaden reading
- Introduction to French Classics
- With improved reading comprehension the students show better verbal and written skills
- Expand vocabulary
- Structured observation of the language (grammar, conjugaison, vocabulary, spelling)
